The season started early this year on 8 & 9 March at St Francis Yacht Club with the Dinghy Spring Regatta.
It was nice to be back in San Francisco for the start of the 2014 season. There is something magical about this place.
SF Bay is notoriously windy so I'd taken all the sails from the small ones to the big ones.
In the end the wind didn't blow on Saturday and Sunday so there was no racing.
I made the most of it anyway by doing the little repairs and setups that always get postponed when there is wind. It was also a good opportunity to catch up with everyone.
The kiters had all their foils out with the new style boards.Next events are SDWA early April, Cabrillo Beach Racing Series mid April and round 1 of Calcup on 24 April.
